Why should I attend?
WE ARE GLAD YOU ASKED!
The Biannual Cutting Edge Event is an excellent opportunity to present your work to your colleagues and interested others in a relaxed environment. We aim to enable young scientists a possibility to present their research to their peers, to discuss the results, and to entangle the scientific problems from various perspectives.
Who is the event for?
Primarily, the event is meant for Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD students, young researchers at the beginning of their careers, and all others who are involved in the research in one of the following three Cutting Edge topics
Science behind the Living
Materials of the Future
Technologies for the Earth and Environments
If you recognized yourself in any of these descriptions, then this is the right event for you! Do not hesitate and fill out the registration form above!
How to participate?
We have decided that we will offer two different types of participation.
- Active participation
If you would like to present your work to others in the form of an abstract, poster and a short 2-minute presentation consider this option! - Passive participation
If you would rather just listen to presented research, or if you are here just looking for inspiration, this is the right option for you.

What is the registration fee?
This conference is organized for students by students, so we tried to make it as accessible as possible.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of cancellation, the event organizer must be notified in writing via email. The cost of the registration fee will be refunded in the amount of 80% of the payment upon cancellation for the inquiries received no later than September 1st, 2025. For cancellations received after this date, a refund of the registration fee is no longer possible. All claims for refunds of fees paid will be considered after the event. Registered participants who are unable to attend the conference may nominate alternate participants and must inform the organizer.
