Where will the conference take place?
In the beautiful Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology (Večna pot 113, Ljubljana)

Who organizes the conference?
Young researchers, assistants, and students from the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology.

What is this gala reception?
This year we are celebrating the 5th anniversary of the conference and we want to celebrate with you in the most beautiful place in all of Ljubljana, the Ljubljana Castle.

What should I wear?
Whatever you feel most comfortable in to dance the night away.


Registration

Who can register for the conference?

Primarily, the conference is meant for Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. students, and young researchers at the beginning of their careers. However, everybody is welcome. Please note you have until 30th June 2023 to register.

What are the CE2023 participation fees?
This conference is organized for students by students, so we tried to make it as accessible as possible. Bachelor's and Master's students - 20 EUR; Ph.D. students - 30 EUR; all others - 40 EUR.

How do I know my registration has been accepted?
You will receive a confirmation email with more details right after submitting the registration form, however, we will send out the Acceptance letters via the email you provided at the registration sometime in the middle of July.

When will I get an official receipt?
After the conference day, so after 21st of September 2023.

I have registered, but I will not be able to attend the conference. What should I do?
You have two options. The first one is to notify us via email. If you cancel before September 1st, 2023, your payment fee will be refunded in the amount of 80 % of the payment. For cancellations received after this date, a refund of the registration fee is no longer possible. The second option is to nominate alternate participants and notify us about the change via email.


Participation

How can I participate in the conference?
Active participation - If you would like to present your work to others in the form of an abstract, poster, and a short 2-minute presentation consider this option!
Passive participation - If you would rather just listen to presented research, or if you are here just looking for inspiration, this is the right option for you.

Do I need to submit an abstract to join the conference?
No, except if you want to attend as an active participant, in this case, it is mandatory.

Can I just submit an abstract and not prepare a presentation?
We encourage active participants to experience all aspects of presenting their own work. That is why all active participants must submit an abstract and give a short presentation in order to be included in the proceedings.

Will you print my poster?
No, each participant is solely responsible for printing their poster. Equipment to mount posters on the panels will be available at the venue.

I want to add my abstract to the COBISS database. What should I do?
Each participant is solely responsible to add their contribution in the Book of Abstracts to the COBISS database.
